After graduating from SGH I worked in PwC in Poland, but I had an itch to start working abroad. I managed to secure a job with Google in its Dublin headquarters. After a year in Ireland I decided to move to the US and started a job with Google in its global headquarter in Mountain View, California. That was a great time - I was surrounded by all the Silicon Valley celebrities and had a meaningful job. After some time though I decided I was looking for another adventure and I moved to Singapore, a country that I have called home since 2013. In Singapore I worked at Google, Facebook, and I started my own company too. I'm currently trying to start another one. Along the way I obtained my MBA from INSEAD and I became a Harvard Business School alum recently. My dreams of international travel have definitely came true - to date I visited 92 countries and have been attended work trips in many Asia countries, where I learned more about the cultures and ways of doing business. If anyone is interested about Asia, tech, or anything else, I'd love to help. Feel free to reach out! :)

My biggest success

After many years I realized that materials success is not something that motivates me... Due to this my biggest career success is really just understanding how to be a good leader and how to manage people in a way that achieves the necessary business objectives, but also shows respect, empathy, and understanding to everyone involved. I'm still learning about it (it's a lifelong journey), but building a culture of performance and personal growth, while maintaining a fun work environment, is extremely important to me.

My advice for SGH students

Don't listen to all the advice you get. Including this one. Everyone's different and has a different perception that is shaped by unique situations, that may be completely inadequate to your circumstances. Be open, but also skeptical.
