Co-creator and CEO of 3YOURMIND, a leading software provider for 3D printing and supporting services. The company employs over 60 employees, both experienced experts and young talents. The company's headquarters is located in Berlin and it has its branches in Wrocław, Munich, Paris, New York and San Francisco.

What inspires and/or motivates you?

The people I work with are my motivation. We often differ in many ways, which allows us to learn from each other. We have a common goal, which is the desire to improve and develop our environment - it makes me willingly get up early in the morning and give my best. I am also motivated by crossing my own comfort zone. Every time I feel insecure I know I'm learning something new. This helps me realize the concepts of lifelong learning.

How did your studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics help you develop leadership skills?

I had a lot of classes that taught best practices for making decisions based on potential benefits in the future. SGH is also a university where group work is a common learning tool. It helped me in choosing the right co-workers, creating roles in the team and maintaining mutual relationships that help me motivate everyone to work effectively. The essence of a great, beautiful company is gratitude to the people who create it. Our team now has over 60 people and I have to say that I really want to know each of them very well, to know what contribution they make to our joint development - and I am often delighted with their initiative. I guess we fuel each other with such a proactive attitude, because I can also see their enthusiasm when I sometimes surprise them with some unexpected ideas.

What advice would you give to SGH students dreaming of starting their own business?

Try to do what you really enjoy. Surround yourself with people who give you energy, but also with those who can reasonably comment on your joint activities. Do not worry about failures and learn from them. Do not shy away from the craziest ideas - you are at the perfect age to implement them and influence even in the global economy.

A valuable lesson that you can share with SGH students (resulting from success, failure or other experience).

Before 3YOURMIND built its brand in the world of 3D technology, as a small startup we had to deal with a lack of recognition and trust from potential customers. I remember that I took part in large industrial fair in Germany as a visitor. I walked from one stand to another with a small 3D print in my hand, telling people about the company and our vision. After many hours of fruitless conversations with dozens of people, I finally managed to attract Siemens employees' interest in our activities. Since then, we have been cooperating with Siemens under various projects. That situation taught me that you should never give up even if you heard 'no' 100 times. You have to be persistent and believe in what you do, and then you will definitely manage to spread your vision among others.
